UK Government had taken decision 'No Work No Salary'

 Dehradun,Teams had been constituted for inspection, verification and videography of attendance of Secretariat workers.
 Principal Secretary Secretariat Administration Om Prakash said that the teams would conduct surprise checking anytime twice a day during working hours. Additional Secretary BS Manral and Joint Secretary GP Auli would conduct verification of the attendance in four storeys of the new Secretariat building and newly constructed tin shed of Subsection building.
Additional Secretariat PS Dangwal, Joint Secretariat JP Joshi and Joint Secretary Lalit Mohan Arya would carryout verification at North-Western Block, POTA Bhawan, ATM building and new Section (Tin Shed). Additional Secretary Kishan Nath, Joint Secretary Ramesh Chandra Sharma, Under Secretary Prem Singh Bisht had been allocated FRDC building, State Bank building and POTA building.
 The Principal Secretary said that the seniormost Inspecting Officer would mark the attendance of absent workers with red ink. All the attendance register of sections where Section Officers would be found absent would be kept with Additional Secretary Secretariat Adminsitration BS Manral after the inspection. All those offices found locked would be considered absent if they failed to report at Additional Secretary Manral's office in the stipulated time. He said that posing disturbance to the works of those officers and workers who prefer to keep them away from the agitation was also be considered act of indiscipline. Such workers could register their complaints both orally or in written to police officers on duty at Control Room or Kotwali.
 It may be noted that workers union agitating against and in support of reservation in promotions had declared to defer their strike on 6 September, 2012. As many of the workers had not returned to their offices even after the announcement, the Government had taken decision to opt 'No Work No Salary' principle and Government Order in this regard was issued on 7 September, 2012. The Principal Secretary has made it clear that salary of those found absent would be deducted and appropriate action taken against them.
